THE HISTORY OF THE FOUNDATION
Driven by a shared love of nature, Jacques and his father Yves Rocher created the Yves Rocher Foundation 30 years ago, which is now recognised as being in the public interest. Since then, in the 4 corners of the world, the Yves Rocher Foundation has been working hands-on with local communities to preserve nature through its action programmes :

800 football pitches of forest disappear every hour. Nearly 420 million hectares of forest have been wiped off the map since 1990...
The power of trees and collective action are two major solutions to climate change. That's why, with the Plant For Life programme, the Foundation is working alongside 60 partner NGOs around the world. Together, we have planted 120 million trees, with the aim of restoring animal and plant biodiversity, creating jobs and giving hope for a better tomorrow.
