Join us on Sunday 27 October 2024 on the Mail François Mitterand in Rennes for the start of the Ouest France Relay Marathon! 

 

Are you a company, an association, a group of students or a group of friends? Would you like to run a race together? The Marathon Relais Ouest-France is available as a Corporate Challenge, Student Challenge and Open Challenge. The 42.195km are shared by 4 relay runners, each covering 8 to 12km of a 100% urban course in Brittany's capital. The relay points are located close to metro stations on lines A and B to eliminate the need for cars on the route. The 4 runners will join up for the last kilometre at République to cross the finish line together.

 

 

INFORMATION ABOUT THE RACE

• Teams of 4 relay runners
• 100% urban course
• Very fast course over 2 loops
• No cars, relay by metro or on foot
• A number belt will be the baton
• Bib with time chip
• You must provide a certificate (paper, electronic or QR Code type) indicating that the person has completed the Health Prevention Course (or ‘PPS’) set up by the FFA via its dedicated platform, the conditions of use of which will also be established by the FFA: https://pps.athle.fr/  To be valid, the PPS must have been completed no more than three months before the date of the event for which the person wishes to register.
• The event is open to runners with an FFA Competition licence, Pass Runing and non-licensed runners born in 2009 or earlier.

A locker system will allow you to collect your team bag at the finish!

• Runner 2: 7.3 km / Place de la Mairie > Place de Bretagne
• Runner 3: 11.2 km / Place de Bretagne > Place Saint-Germain
• Runner 4: 10.895 km / Place Saint-Germain > Place de la République (including 1 km together)
• 4 runners together: 1km / Place de la République > Esplanade Charles de Gaulle
